The Hill reports that the Senate Judiciary Committee could vote on President Obama’s nominee to head the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as soon as Thursday of this week. The nominee, Michelle K. Lee, is currently the Deputy Director of the USPTO, but has been serving as the acting director since January 2013. Lee has already testified twice before the Judiciary Committee, and is expected to win confirmation to the Director’s post with little opposition.
